So two Beatle albums I made the mistake again of winning 2 each of again. Sort of…

I got 2 copies of “Meet The Beatles” and 2 copies of “Sgt. Pepper’s”.

The “Meet” albums however…

one is Stereo and one is Mono. The Mono one is in terrible shape and the cover is actually completely separated. Explains why it was super cheap. The Stereo one is in great shape though and the one I will listen to.

The “Sgt. Pepper” albums have a difference too.

The one on the left is original WITH the insert of punch out mustache and badges and such. The one on the left bizarrely has a sleeve from a Tubes album. This one will be sold again.

An interesting synchronicity, on the Tubes album that this sleeve is from, guess what?… a Beatles cover song! Side 3 song 3. “I Saw Her Standing There”. Weird.

Lastly, whilst speaking of seeing double and having all originals… I bought a cheap “Abbey Road” too.

I’m listening to this now. This album is a part of me. It was a part of me before I met Jeff and he taught me all about The Beatles even. I find it funny that as I put it on the record player that I never knew that I had always listened to this album backwards. I listen to side 2 first and end on “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” which seems perfectly laid out to me.

That leaves only 5 Beatle albums left.
