For this week’s Vinyl Community Rewind I show a time lapse sequence of me building the Kallax that I purchased from Ikea, expressly for storing the record collection. A Kallax (updated name, they used to be called something else) is a very common storage solution for your records. I saw them in almost everyone’s videos that showed any storage.
I was stoked to get this and wanted to do a time sped up video of my putting it together, but couldn’t figure out how to do it. I settled for time lapse photos. It was the first time I edited 2 videos together into 1. My editing skills were on the rise.
Also in this video you see a glimpse into the records I got from Dalton (miss you dude!) and my first world problems of combining our collections as I put them into the Kallax.
