For this week’s Vinyl Community Rewind I did Record Store Day 2016! It was my first and I did a little on the road and some stand in line stuff. I had wanted to do some video in the store, but it was too packed and crazy. So a picture had to suffice.
Being early I was able to get one of the free bags. Once home I show all the freebies in the bag and the Ravi Shankar album I picked up “Ravi Shankar – In Hollywood 1971”.
Also, I ended up waiting to check out along the wall with the reggae stuff and picked up 2 dub albums, King Tubby and a Sly & Robbie. Then finally a split 45 by Wavves and Best Coast, with Best Coast doing a cover of Nivana’s “Dumb”.
Not bad for my first Record Store Day.
