Later in the day as we sat around the table in the dining room, watching the snow continue to fall and create havoc.
A branch broke off of my favorite tree! We sent Abbey out to knock off what she could after we lost a second one.
I decided that it was time to play our vinyl version of “Lynn Anderson – The Christmas Album” on the newly moved upstairs record player. It was perfect for the snowfall. Unfortunately, this vinyl version had a skip in the first song too! Grrr…
The rest of the album was skip free. The first song though is the best: “Ding-A-Ling The Christmas Bell”.
Thanks for the digital version Otis!
A quick search of Amazon and E-bay turned up nothing but more vinyl versions of the whole album. Apparently it was never made into a CD release. I refused to give up though. Eventually I found a site that had it remastered from LP, which is what I have, but I’m guessing with no skip. I hope. I ordered one. It was only 15 bucks.

It won’t come until after Christmas, but it will be ready for the next Christmas.
And perhaps the next snowpocalypse!
