Somehow I wrote this one and never posted it, so it’s old, but still fun to see…

I saw this at my local hardware giant and did a double take.

You know there was some meeting at the Command Company office in which some new guy who never talks in the meetings, raised his hand and quietly murmured so low that only the people on either side could hear him… “We should get MC Hammer for our advertising”. There was probably a round of raucous laughter, which faded as the idea rattled around a bit. Then one upper management suit said “Brilliant!” Whereupon it was deemed brilliant and rushed to market.

Damn right !

Since, I have seen the television commercial and an ad on Spotify with a dancing MC Hammer.

I’m not sure I’m more inclined to buy Command Strips because of MC Hammer, but I have to hand it to them, you don’t forget this advertising.
