So it occurred to me the other day as I was loading music on my phone, that I could load my digitized versions of Jeff’s tapes too. I loaded the “Lost In My Mind” Tape # 12. It surprised me that I had not thought of this before. It worked of course and I listened to it at work later that day.
“Lost In My Mind” is a tape Jeff made on which he plays DJ on Side A. He gives some news and then intro’s the songs. It’s great stuff.
Song List:
“Steve Miller Band – Fly Like An Eagle” – “Boston – More Than A Feeling” – “Foreigner – Love On The Telephone” – “Jethro Tull – Orion” – “Sugarloaf – Don’t Call Us, We’ll Call You” – “Pink Floyd- Hey You” – “Led Zeppelin – Fool In The Rain” and “Doobie Brothers – What A Fool Believes”
This has been a favorite of mine for many years. It has made quite a journey to end up on my phone.
I remember when I got my first phone that could play music. It was a complicated process that required extra software. Now I just drag and drop. It even shows the cover from the pic I took of it that was in the folder. Awesome.
I am listening to a digitized tape from the past. On my phone.
Ah, future.
