My lyric portraits have been going well. They are turning out decent and I have done about 8 now. I’ve created my own little gallery at work.
I’ve even decided that I’d like to try my hand at creating them from pictures that aren’t necessarily black and white to start out with. To that end I bought a light pad.
It works great for tracing the outlines.
The other day I was looking for a Bruce Springsteen picture to convert and I thought that the picture of him on the cover of “The River” would be good. So I googled it to find a larger dimension picture to download.
Evidently everyone and his brother has a picture of “The River” posted somewhere. There were literally pages and pages of the shot. I scrolled through them chuckling to myself. Then something caught my eye on this page. A shot on the left side.
One of the shots has bricks around it. Upon closer inspection I realized that it is the fireplace at OUR house.
Weird. I wrote about the album when I bought it and the shot ended up here amongst all the other Bruce’s.
My shot is in good company.
